About Dahlia

I am an aspiring educator and live for those "ah-ha" moments. My primary experience is with middle school students. I taught sixth grade level math for two summers with Generation Teach and after that, I did one service year with an educational nonprofit called City Year. There, I enjoyed being stationed in an ELD classroom and two social studies classrooms. My team and I learned a variety of academic literary intervention strategies aimed at helping our focus list students grow by two grade levels on their standardized tests. I love small group and individual interventions.
