About Daelin

I like tutoring because I get to connect with students in a smaller setting than a classroom. Tutoring allows for exponential growth and I love being able to personalize learning! I have 1 year of teaching 2nd grade under my belt so I have a breadth of knowledge for things like phonics skills and adding and subtracting within 100. Besides foundational skills, I would feel comfortable tutoring kids on things like career exploration, test prep, Spanish, essay writing, and some higher level math skills as well. I have my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from the University of Kansas as well as an ESOL endorsement and a Spanish minor. Because I'm a teacher, I will be available to work 15-25 hours, 2-4 days a week from June 1st to July 31st. In my spare time, I like to bake, cook, and go for walks.
