About Cynthia

Hello! I have many years of experience in tutoring students in grade levels K-6th grade. I was previously employed by an afterschool program for 3 years where I would help students for an hour with homework. I also had great communications with parents and teachers to find ways and resources to improve student academic performance. Furthermore, I am a substitute teacher and I get the pleasure of working with students in grade levels K-5th. One of the things I am passionate about is creating a learning environment where students feel safe to make mistakes. It is important to me that students understand that there is nothing wrong with making mistakes or not understanding material as it is all part of the learning process.
