Hi! I'm Ms. Amy and I have 10+ years in the classroom teaching ages ranging from preschool to 8th grade. I have also taught as an adjunct lecturer at the graduate level at my alma mater, Brooklyn College, where I've earned my Masters in English Education. Most recently I worked as an English as a Second Language teacher for LAUSD, teaching all subjects for middle school newcomers. I have transitioned out of the classroom to pursue the performing arts. I'm currently studying at a conservatory for Musical Theatre. I am available to tutor for: English Language Arts (all grades and levels) English as a Second Language Math through 8th grade / algebra 1 State test prep SAT/ACT prep College level writing - research, essays, etc. I am also a vocal coach and available for vocal lessons!
