Hello! I am an older senior with an ECE degree, 30 continuous years experience as a mom, educator, nanny and grandma! I'm in my 70s, still working. I do have natural aging limitations, so I can sadly no longer care for babies, toddlers and preschoolers. For elementary kiddos, I can get kids up, fed and off to bus or close by school in the AM. After school, M/Th/F, 3-5 PM, I can assist with homework, play educational games, do independent reading or read-alouds and get outside. If your kiddos are independent and just need check-ins, I can be that present, supportive adult. My Beacon Hill home or at the Beacon Hill or Columbia City libraries. I am an attentive, engaged caregiver. I'm prompt, take the initiative and respond to the kids interests and needs. I've been with all of my families for long stints - 10 years - my longest, my current families for 6 and 4 years. I still love watching kids expand their awareness and skills!
