I have mainly been a housekeeper since 2014. When one of my clients asked if I knew anyone who could help with their child. I have raised 5 boys, now ages 16-28, so I felt I was qualified for the job. One of my children being a high functioning autistic and one of them being diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia at age 19. I've been taking care of a non-verbal autistic 12-year-old boy for about a year now. He was very aggressive when I first started, but, after behavior classes and learning how to calm him, now he is mostly sweet with bad days here and there. I find that I really enjoy caregiving and would love to be able to help another family when this job ends. Available 4pm-7 p.m. mon-fri and all weekends from Friday night at 7 p.m. to Sunday at 7 p.m.
