I'm currently looking for a night position. My first interest in care giving for the elderly was with my own Grandmother. With a full blown stroke causing paralysis on one side, loosing her speech and bodily functions I learned to care for her, change her diaper and feed her as well as learning to converse with her in her own way. Since her passing I have cared for many elderly woman with a range of physical problems such as Alzheimer's and Dementia, Ileostomy bag, Catheter's, and Obesity. It meant so much to me to have someone who generally cared for my Grandmother when we did have to hire extra help and so I want to offer that to someone else who may need care for their loved one. I believe our Seniors have given so much to us and our future they more than deserve love, compassion and patience in their elder years.
