My father was diagnosed with Alzheimer's, and from January through December of 2018, I assumed complete responsibility for his daily care including medication prompting, dressing and bathing, meals, doctor visits and companionship. The great news is that my mom is now healthy enough to have him move back in with her. But taking care of my dad, as well as my own three children, made me realize that I am an excellent and natural care-giver. In September of 2018, I began assisting a spicy 93-year-old senior lady by waking her up in the mornings, daily face cloth wash, assistance using the commode, dressing, taking medication, providing her breakfast and transportation to her Adult Day Care facility. She used a walker and needed help navigating the three steps in the garage. While her mind is still sharp, sadly her physical health deteriorated to the point that she is no longer able to attend her "school" as she called it. I will care for your senior, as if he or she were my own family.
