I started working with children when I accepted a position as a paraprofessional in Pre-K. I helped with reading, social skills and math. I'm passionate about helping students unlock their unique potential. With several years of experience, I try to create engaging and supportive learning environments tailored to each student's needs. I actively listen and observe to understand individual learning styles, then adapt my teaching with visual aids, hands-on activities, and open discussions. I connect challenging topics to real-world examples, celebrating successes and providing positive reinforcement to keep students motivated. Communication is key, and I believe in providing regular updates to parents, fostering a collaborative environment. The most rewarding part is witnessing a student's "aha!" moment and watching their confidence grow. I am comfortable with pets and willing to tutor at your home, online, or at the library.
