About Jennifer

First and foremost, I went to college for Elementary Education with a child development minor, specializing in Math and English. I did not graduate with a degree, however, as I chose a different path in life. With that being said, I am not a certified tutor. I currently tutor a littIe boy who has ADHD and is now in the 4th grade. I started tutoring him last year as he was retaking the 3rd grade for the second time and was at a mid-2nd grade Math level. He is continuing to work his way through Math as he is in the 4th grade! I have the ability to adapt to a child's learning preferences (visual, hands on, verbal, etc) so they are able to grasp the material. I strive to be able to pick up on a how a child learns best and build a bond with them, which helps them with their learning. I feel that patience, kindness, and adaptability are key in being able to efficiently teach a child in a way they are able to grasp the material at hand. Thank you for your time and consideration.
