I've been working in childcare for over 10 years, with experience in schools, in-home care, babysitting, and nannying. For the past 8 years, I've worked full-time with the same family, caring for two children who are now 7 and 4 years old. The youngest child has special needs, and for the past two years I've also supported her at preschool, giving me valuable experience with individualized care, patience, and communication with teachers and families. I'm currently looking to support additional families outside of my regular full-time schedule (Monday-Thursday). My availability beyond those days is generally very flexible. Sierra has been sitting for my son for a few months now. I am impressed with her professionalism, and her flexibility. I have contacted her on several occasions with a last minute request and she has always made it work. She has watched my son over night in the past as well. She has a mature personality and has made me feel comfortable leaving my son with her. She always keeps me up to date on how my son is doing when I have to go away. I will recommend Sierra to anyone looking for a responsible person to care for their kids.
