About Cydnie

I am a 2020 graduate of the University of North Texas, where I earned my degree with honors. Currently, I serve as a middle school teacher and coach within Plano ISD. My academic strengths include English and Math, subjects I excelled in throughout K-12, and I am now certified to teach core subjects for grades 4-8. My teaching approach emphasizes creativity, practical application, and fostering higher-order thinking skills. I recognize that students at this Age are highly intelligent; however, their minds often process numerous concepts and terms simultaneously, which can make memorization challenging. I strive to create engaging, interactive lessons and incorporate reward systems to promote active participation and better retention. Additionally, I believe tailoring instruction to meet each student's individual learning style is essential, as every child learns differently. I look forward to establishing a productive and collaborative partnership with the families I serve!
