About Cydnie

I'm a 2020 UNT graduate with a BA in Media Arts and an affinity for writing. Last school year, I worked as a teacher for a middle school and this year I work as a Math teacher and Coach. English and Math have always been my strong suit from K-12, but I am currently certified to teach Core subjects 4-8! My teaching method is based on creativity and application rather than memory. Children at this age are very smart, however, from my experience working with them, they have a multitude of concepts and terms running through their minds and this makes it difficult to memorize information. I like to make lessons interactive or have a reward system set in place so the student can recall the lesson due to having a more hands-on approach. Tailoring your lesson to each student is key as not every child learns the same!
