I am a former elementary school teacher and current Speech-Language Pathologist with a strong background in academic support and individualized instruction. My experience in both classroom and clinical settings has equipped me to adapt teaching strategies to meet a variety of learning styles and needs. My background includes supporting students in phonics, vocabulary development, reading fluency, reading comprehension, and writing organization. I am also knowledgeable in core academic subjects such as math and science and comfortable supporting students in building problem-solving skills and understanding foundational concepts across subject areas. As a former teacher, I understand grade-level expectations and curriculum standards. I strive to create a structured, encouraging environment where students can grow academically while building confidence and independence.
