I am currently looking to add a couple of students to my tutoring roster for the summer, which may continue into the fall depending on my schedule. I am a previous K-6 certified teacher in the state of Indiana and Ohio. I have decided to take a break from teaching, but still desire to help students by tutoring. I have taught 4th/5th grade for 17 years and have also tutored multiple grade levels after school and have been hired for personal tutoring as well. I have worked as a STEM teacher for 3 years in Fishers, IN. I have worked with up to 30 students in a classroom at one time, so I'm very familiar with the many needs of a student. I have 2 bachelor degrees, communication and education and a masters +30 additional hours in education. I am very patient, with a calm demeanor, but will strongly encourage a student to perform to their full potential and also help build their confidence to be successful. I am fully vaccinated for COVID-19.

Crystal guided my two kids through virtual school for an entire school year and grew to be a part of our family. My kids have very different personalities with different challenges and Crystal adapted to each to push them to maximize their potential. She has an endless amount of patience and is a true teacher and believer in bringing out the best in children. Any family or organization would be lucky to have Crystal!
