About Courtney

Hi! My name is Courtney , and I'm a second year Doctor of Physical Therapy student at the University of South Carolina looking to specialize in pediatrics! I've worked with children of all ages, from toddlers to elementary schoolers as a Sunday school teacher, and have experience supporting individuals with special needs-including my amazing older sister who has Down syndrome. That personal connection inspired my career path in pediatric physical therapy - a field I am truly passionate about. I'm first aid/CPR/AED certified with the American Heart Association and babysitting certified with the American Red Cross. I also work as a teaching assistant at the USC School of Medicine, and serve as a personal care aide for a child with unique needs. While I'm newer to formal babysitting (I have only been babysitting for a couple months), I bring energy, responsibility, and genuine joy to every child I meet.
