I have previously worked in day-care settings as a teacher's aide and lead teacher, especially with the infants. I also have a lot of experience and enjoy working with special needs. I have been an in-home therapist for autistic children, a caregiver for an autistic adult and a nanny for an autistic teenager. I am currently a special education aide at an elementary school and have my special ed aide license. I am also completely open to doing housework!

This woman was hard to schedule an interview with and once we did finally have a phone interview she cut it short just after I explained my son's condition and said she would call back and never did. She then began ignoring me as I asked for updates and let me know the entire time she was holding out for another position and heard back today. What bothers me most is that she knew my son and I had been through a lot and versus being compassionate and understanding she was calculated, not empathetic and had no compassion. Quite honestly, it's more about money to this woman than it is helping families and that is heartbreaking.
