About Corissa

My name is Corissa, I am 29 years old, have one daughter that is 3. I live in the East Bay area of California. I am interested in helping people who can no longer do what they use to. I lost my grandfather about a year ago. He was my favorite person in this world, I waited on him hand and foot. I loved seeing him smile and knowing I was making his life a little easier. I sat and listened to "the good old days" and "when I was young" stories he use to tell. I enjoyed it so much I'm thinking of going into this field. I have no prior experience before taking care of him. As he grew older he had back problems, a heart bypass and got dementia. Luckily he always remembered me, but unfortunately I witnessed him not recalling how to use the microwave, the remote or things around the house that he was once keen at. I know how hard it is for the family and frustrating it is to themselves. I have reliable transportation and valid insurance. I am also CPR & FIRST AID CERTIFIED.
