About Corinne

Hello! My name is Corinne and I have three years of experience working with children. I am patient, compassionate, creative, adaptable, and reliable; I believe that nurturing and encouraging independence, creativity, emotional regulation, and kindness matters. I worked for the Ankeny Before and After School Program for two years. I currently work for the Bob and Billy Ray Child Development Center, and I teach private swim lessons. So, I have experience with children aged four months to 12 years. I have worked with children with language delays, dual language learners, anxiety, and emotional and behavioral regulation challenges. Some of my favorite childcare activities are cooking fun, healthy meals, storytime, building forts, multi-sensory bins, arts and crafts of all kinds, creating diy educational activities, helping them understand thier homework, dance parties, going on walks in the forest or at the park, and taking the children swimming.
