I'd describe my personality as kind, empathetic, and witty. I like caring for seniors because I enjoy caring for seniors because I didn't have grandparents growing up, so I've always valued the opportunity to build meaningful connections with older adults. I'm looking for a job where I can provide compassionate, reliable care while building meaningful relationships with clients and their families. My first experience caring for a senior was as a teenager, helping my aunt care for my uncle after he was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. In my spare time, I like to go to the gym, cook international cuisine, travel, and go to cultural events. I treat people the way I'd want my own family treated. I'm naturally patient, easy to talk to, and I genuinely enjoy spending time with older adults, not just helping them, but getting to know them as people. My skills include personal care assistance, dementia & memory care, companionship/emotional support.
