About Cora

We truly cannot recommend Cora highly enough. She came into our lives in late 2022 when our son was 5 months old, and more than 3.5 years later — despite him now being in preschool full-time and us living outside Sonoma County — we still look for opportunities for them to spend time together. Cora has an incredible warmth and presence with babies and children. She brings so much calm, joy, attentiveness, and genuine respect to children — treating them as whole people deserving of care, curiosity, and connection. She is deeply aligned with our parenting values: outdoor time, creativity, music, practical life skills, baby-led weaning, screen-free caregiving, and involving children in the rhythms of everyday life. With her Waldorf background and deep caregiving experience, she brought so much wisdom and confidence to us as first-time parents. We learned an enormous amount from her. Cora is thoughtful, communicative, reliable, and wonderfully collaborative. She followed schedules carefully, adapted easily as our son’s needs changed, and always felt like a true partner in caring for him. Over the years, she became much more than a nanny to our family. When our second child was born, she woke up before dawn and drove from Sonoma County to San Francisco to be with our son while his baby sister was being born. That kind of generosity and love is simply who she is. Any family would be incredibly lucky to have Cora in their lives.
