About Cora

Hi! My name is Cora and I am a 4th year social work student from Michigan. I am here for the summer on a mission trip as part of my campus ministry! I am looking to work 15-20 hours per week during the work week. As part of this trip, I am unable to work Sundays and one day between Tuesday and Thursday. I have a significant amount of experience with children. In Michigan, I first began babysitting as a teenager, as well as volunteering at my church's nursery. When I reached college, I spent over a year working at an ABA clinic with children on the autism spectrum. On my summers off, I worked at a child development center. At that center, I was primarily an assistant teacher for infants and school aged children. In that position, I also worked with toddlers and preschoolers, and substituted as a lead teacher for both infant and school age classrooms. I'm able to do additional work around the house with laundry, helping with meals, and I am comfortable with cats and small dogs.
