About Conner

I started working with youth when I turned 21 years old and started working at a residential treatment center. Being that I have a career focus on social work and pathological behaviors, I find that in many ways working with kids can be very similar to working with adults. In that way it can be very relatable to convey understanding to the grievances on being a young person. My top 3 child care skills: Patience and willingness in the moment Honest and authentic exchanges Driven by deep conection and character building activity 3 words that describe me: Passionate Observant Poignant One thing you should know is that sitting is a newer field of work for me, I have a lot of exposure to both individual and large group settings with what I'd consider my "students". I would potentially encourage work alongside my partner, who has over double my tenure in residential treatment as well as several years as a sitter, especially for larger groups of kids or more permanent/long term needs.
