Out of all the professions in this world, I have chosen to become a Professional Nanny. I cannot think of any other job that has the ability to fill me with such passion, dedication, love, satisfaction, and joy as childcare. Providing attentive, one-on-one care for your child(ren) is a privilege I can not describe. I love to create active days out at the local parks, playgrounds, gyms, zoos, and museums. The library has proven to be full of age appropriate story times and play opportunities. I love helping children learn how to take their first steps, to helping them out with homework. Bringing a sense of joy and peace to your kids and into your home is my goal. I want parents to be assured beyond a doubt that someone who loves thier child(ren) very much is giving the best of herself while the parents are away. I completed nanny school, am finishing up my education degree, have a Music Together certification, several National Nanny Training Day certifications, and CPR and First Aid Cer

Colleen took care of our daughter for nine months. During the nine months, we knew that our daughter was safe. Colleen consistently read to our daughter, found activities for her outside of the home and was very creative with activities in the home. For example, for sensory exploration and learning, Colleen would have our daughter play with corn starch and water or corn meal. Colleen was often at the library and read to the baby - even when she was in the bath tub. If you are interested in having your children in activities outside of the home, Colleen was very resourceful and committed to doing the research to find the best activities. Colleen was very dependable. In the nine months, she never requested a sick day. On the days that Colleen did have a cold or did not feel well, she always checked with us first to make sure that it was acceptable to come to work and offered to wear a mask. She always arrived at work on time. On the couple of occasions that we were not able to be home by 6:00 p.m. due to an unscheduled issue, Colleen was accommodating to our issue and did not mind staying 10 minutes late. With regard to the baby's room and clothes, Colleen cared for them as if they were her own. The baby's toys, car seat and stroller were often scrubbed down and, a year later they look new. Colleen did a great job documenting the baby's daily activities. Each evening, we could read her log and know exactly how much the baby ate and slept. We have no doubt that with the right fit, Colleen will make a great nanny for a family.
