About Colleen

I am an accomplished, forward-thinking and dedicated educator with experience in remediation, enrichment, and acceleration to help students reach their potential. I work with students and parents to navigate the educational process and maximize opportunities. Starting as early as 7th grade, I help students develop skills to excel and stand out in college admissions. My coaching has led to acceptance into programs like the Bezos Scholars and Gates Foundation Scholarship. Many students have earned full scholarships to universities like Swarthmore, Drexel, Johns Hopkins, Penn State Honors, and Duke. I enjoy tutoring because it allows me to address students' needs, build confidence, and unlock potential. After 20+ years of teaching, I found tutoring rewarding as it builds on students' strengths while targeting areas for growth. In my spare time, I enjoy gardening, yoga, and creating opportunities like participation in the PHS Philadelphia Flower Show.
