About Colleen

Hi, I'm Colleen and I'm 31 years old. I currently live in Duluth but I grew up in Massachusetts and most recently moved to MN from UT. I have a Bachelors degree in Psychology & over 9 years of experience working with kids ages 5-18 in the mental health field. Past jobs include counselor roles in a residential school, a therapeutic day school, wilderness therapy program and most recently a behavioral hospital for adolescents with misconduct charges. I'm an avid hiker and enjoy spending time outdoors. I have thru-hiked both the Pacific Crest Trail and the Appalachian Trail (& I'm halfway through the Continental Divide Trail). I also enjoy reading, arts & crafts and music. I will be attending graduate school in June to pursue a 2-year Master's program in Occupational Therapy. I'm looking for a job that allows me to work with kids in a comfortable home setting & allow for some flexibility around my class schedule.
