I have several years of experience caring for children with special needs, including neurodivergent children who benefit from additional support with emotional regulation, communication, social skills, and independence. My experience includes providing one-on-one care, assisting with homeschooling and educational activities, creating structured routines, and helping children navigate challenging behaviors in a calm and supportive way. I believe in meeting each child where they are, recognizing their individual strengths and needs, and creating a safe environment where they can build confidence, learn new skills, and thrive. I am also CPR, First Aid, and AED certified and have professional caregiving experience working with individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities.
