Caregiving is my passion! I have local experience with caring for adults with cognitive struggles and have worked with early onset of Dementia and Alzheimer's Disease. I am Alzheimer's Certified. My most valuable training has been my hands on experience with individuals and their families. My first goal is safety. I like to create a stimulating atmosphere with activities that fit in the individuals needs. Partnering with families is my goal. I tend to create an atmosphere of comfort. Responsibilities as a caregiver can range anywhere from simple companionship to full hands on care. I fit into their daily routine or can help create a healthy routine that fits their individual needs. I like to stimulate social skills and outings (if appropriate with individual) I offer hygiene routine/ oral care. Showering and full pericare. I also can handle doctor appointments, therapy/ counseling appointments, disease treatment/ management. Non smoker. Pet friendly. CPR/FIRST AID Certified.
