About Claudia

Teaching has always been one of the most meaningful parts of my life, and tutoring allows me to continue doing the work I care about most: helping students grow into confident, thoughtful thinkers. I earned my PhD from Northwestern University and also studied at École Normale Supérieure. I've taught at Northwestern and at a selective liberal arts college, coached public policy debate teams, and worked with students across a wide range of backgrounds and learning styles. I'm fluent in Spanish, conversational in French, and have lived internationally. My teaching style combines high standards with warmth, adaptability, and curiosity. I especially enjoy helping students strengthen analytical writing, critical thinking, and confidence in their own voice.
