Since August 2010 I have been gathering experience as a CNA In Nursing homes, hospitals and home health settings. I also have experience providing care for patients with Alzheimer's , dementia, rehab, bariatrics, hospice and others . The tools I have managed to work with : electric hoyer and stand up lifts Generally I have worked all shifts and also helped many times with activities departments by singing and playing guitar for the patients . To see patients with dementia smile/clapping is one of the best feelings I can have . ( This I have done throughout the course of these 13 years .) I have earned the achievement of employee of the month four times while working . I have also worked as senior mental health tech monitoring patients with suicidal tendencies To be the best nurse's aide at work , there must be knowledge but beyond knowing there must be being , the same way I am to my family I am also to my patients .
