About Clarice

Hi! My name is Clarice and I am a recent graduate from the University of Denver with a bachelor's of science in molecular biology. I worked at the DU writing center for two years as a STEM writing consultant. In this position, I worked collaboratively with undergraduate and graduate students in order to develop skills and strategies to assist in academic writing, particularly in writing closely associated to STEM subjects (ie lab reports, grant proposals, etc.). I have also tutored peers throughout my life in many subjects including math, science, and history based classes. I absolutely love to learn and try my hardest to make learning enjoyable and accessible to those around me. One thing you should know about me is I will do my absolute best to make your students feel comfortable. I know that tutoring is not normally thought of as a "fun" experience but I believe that through making genuine connections, learning can be connected to things that students truly care about.
