About Clare

I'm a birth worker looking to start nannying this fall while I work on pre-requisite classes for nursing school. For the past two years I have worked at the Minnesota Birth Center as a clinic assistant and more recently birth assistant working directly with birthing families and their newborns. I love working with pregnant people and new parents and feel so lucky every time I get to be a part of a birth. I have current certifications in Basic Life Support and Neonatal Resuscitation Program. I am hoping to nanny starting mid October or November, and I am available for/interested in a longer term commitment, preferably part-time but open to full. I have babysat for many years and for 3 years was doing part time child care for a family in New Jersey, starting when the kiddos were 3 months and 3 years old! I love creating safe and comforting environments for children, getting down on the floor to play with them, and spending time exploring outside with them.
