About Claire

Hi I'm Claire! I have cared for kids in a myriad of ways and enjoy cultivating a safe environment for kids to be themselves. Exploring the outdoors, building lifelong skills, and being curious and patient with emotions are skill sets I bring to caring for children. I have gotten to work with kids through: babysitting, tutoring, outdoor recreation, in an elementary school setting as a reading specialist and afterschool program coordinator, through place based learning programming, mentorship, teaching cooking classes, and living in an intergenerational community! It's been a gift to accompany kids in life, at any stage and forever how long. I believe the more healthy adults in a kid's life, the better. I'd love to support your family in childcare needs and am currently available part-time: 1:30 - 7 p.m. Monday- Thursday All day Friday And some weekends (dependent on my scheduling for my work doing cooking classes).
