We interviewed Claire through Care.com and subsequent internet services as she was studying at Washington State University, and we were in her hometown on the East Coast. We were a little nervous, but Claire passed the care.com full background check with flying colors. Claire clearly communicated her availability by day and down to the hour before committing to our job. Claire worked for us for about 12 weeks and was outstanding! She was on time, never missed a day of work. She kept the kids (9 and 12) entertained with activities! And, we were delighted to find out that Claire is a gourmet home cook/baker! Claire was dependable and our children were safe and happy! I highly recommend Claire for nights out, school breaks, or summer nanny! Why did Claire leave our family? 1) My kids were traveling to Europe the rest of the summer 2) Following summer, Claire was returning to University. Why will Claire likely not join our family next summer? We now have a live in Au pair.
