About Claire

Hello! I'm originally from California, but moved to DC for college. I studied theater education with a minor in child psychology. Since graduating, I have worked as a nanny for a variety of families. I have a history in watching multiple children, twins, newborns, and special needs children. In the past few years, I changed careers and began working in pastry. Most recently I was the pastry chef of Emilie's. With COVID-19 turning the restaurant industry on its head, I've taken a step back to regroup. I have open availability and would love to watch your kids! I have a car, so I'm comfortable doing pick ups. I am practicing social distancing and my only daily interactions are with my fiancé who works from home. My style in childcare is to teach as we play. Whether that's the ABCs or making cookies, I believe every interaction should and can be memorable.
