About Claire

Working with kids is truly a highlight of my life! I have been babysitting, tutoring, working at summer camps, and mentoring children and youth for over 10 years, and value the ways they help expand my creativity, imagination, and kindness. Most recently, I worked as a summer counselor at Slide Ranch, a program focused on outdoor education, where I developed and taught curriculum to camp groups of all ages. I have worked with various mental, emotional, and physical needs, so it is a top priority for me to help ALL kids feel heard, supported, and inspired! I have had great rapport with the families and camps I have worked for, as I am friendly, responsible, a quick problem solver, patient, and emotionally present. I have a bunch of fun games, activities, and craft projects to do with kiddos of all ages, but try to let them guide their own interests. I am currently looking for work over break and through my last semester of college, then will further pursue a career in midwifery :)
