Hi! I'm Claire. I am 19. I have a strong passion for working with young children and animals. I love all things fun, rambunctious, and exciting. I started my career in Early Childhood education around 14 when I began babysitting. That evolved into babysitting up to four children and an infant. Alongside a month of daily babysitting an older child with Down Syndrome. I spent two years learning childhood development and education through Perry High School's Career and Technical Education program. My senior year we spent two days a week in our school's daycare. (Ages 0-5) During those years we learned a range of things from teaching, potty training, developmental milestones, CPR (Active K-12 card) , all the way down to recognizing abuse. Because of this, I am a mandated reporter. I'm very excited to get back into babysitting, would love to help you scrub your house, or organize an entire closet. Clair has babysat my son multiple times since he was just a couple weeks old. She is extremely caring and passionate for children. Her background in early childhood development made me feel confident that she would care for my child with love and compassion and, she did just that. Her knowledge in first aid also made me feel confident that she was a good fit for our family. She was always calm during crying/tantrums and never seemed overwhelmed with the responsibilities of caring for my son. She follows house rules and directions with ease and her personality is always genuine. Our family adores her and would recommend her for anyone needing childcare.
