About Claire

Empowering students to reach their full potential is at the heart of my teaching practice. With three years of experience supporting middle and high school students in history and foreign languages, I focus on building critical thinking and problem-solving skills. I adapt my methods by observing how you interact with new material and maintaining open communication about your learning preferences. When concepts feel challenging, I break them into manageable steps and celebrate every small success to keep your momentum high. I believe clear communication with both you and your parents is essential to building a collaborative, trusting environment. Witnessing that "aha!" moment when a concept finally clicks remains the most rewarding part of my work. I hold a college degree and am proficient in American Sign Language (ASL). I look forward to helping you grow, succeed, and find genuine enjoyment in your learning journey.
