About Claire

Hello! I am a dedicated educator currently in my 8th year of teaching, with a passion for helping students build confidence and achieve academic success. I currently teach 3rd grade! I hold a Maryland State Teaching Certification (k-3) and earned my undergraduate degree from Hofstra University in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, and English. I also hold a Master's degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL), which has equipped me with specialized strategies to support diverse learners, including multilingual students. My teaching approach is patient, engaging, and tailored to each student's individual learning style. Whether your child needs support in reading, writing, English language development, or other elementary subjects, I strive to create a positive and encouraging learning environment where every student can thrive.
