About Cindy

I have done two years with student teaching in grades Pre-k, kindergarten, and second grade (unpaid). I have done many read aloud lessons and subject-based lessons, as well. If your child doesn't understand something, I will help them the best that I can. I've also done an internship at a public school, in a classroom that had eight children with an ICT. Most of them had an IEP or dyslexia, so I have some experience with students with learning disabilities. I am continuing my education in the fall at Brooklyn College. I recently just graduated with my associate's degree at Kingsborough Community College with a 3. 8 GPA and with a deans list certificate. I can help with math, reading, writing, science, and social students. I feel that some kids can't learn "trapped" between four walls, but also need the experience of learning outside in a different setting. So, we will not be in all the time if I can find a way to teach them in a way that it will also be fun for them.
