Before having children, I was an elementary school teacher. Our son was diagnosed autistic at the age of four. We chose to home school him. I stayed home for 15 years to oversee his education and therapy. He is doing very well, all things considered. He graduated high school, has a Black Belt in Taekwondo and a driver's license. I oversaw the medical care of my late mother and my late mother-in-law. I also worked in the medical field for 10 years.
