About Cielo

My name is Cielo I have three years experience tutoring elementary age children, both neurotypical and neurodivergent. I've worked with children both in-home and in-school to help them achieve a deeper understanding of their academic curriculum. Alongside being a tutor, I have been an ABA therapist. I have worked with children on the Autism spectrum to redirect maladaptive behaviors and teach self-regulation skills. I work with PreK-8 I deeply enjoy teaching younger generations new ways to navigate the world. I want to assist in helping a young person to develop this life long skill that they may be struggling to develop with the current support they have access to. I'm a teacher who enjoys making learning fun. I use behavioral psychology, such as reinforcement and time intervals to help kids stay engaged and find joy in learning. All of the children I've worked with have connected with me as a tutor and/or therapist and have made progress parents are proud of.
