About Ciara

I like working with kids because I remember what it was like to be a small person with big feelings. I love being able to help a kid regulate themselves and feel understood. I started working with kids when I was a kid. I began baby-sitting too young, 12, and continued until I was about 20. When I was 13 my mother opened a business working with children with autism. My sister and I began helping with modeling behaviors when we were kids, and grew into mentor positions as we got older. I briefly worked in-home with teens with special needs. I have worked in a level D classroom with autistic children. I was also a resident advisor for an international school in the 11-17 building. I also have experience teaching adults. In my spare time, I like to; read, roller skate, hang with my cats. I've also begun training my parents dog.
