About Ciara

For eight years, I have been helping students unlock their academic potential. With a college degree and experience creating Individualized Education Programs (IEP) and student accommodation plans (504), I am a certified teacher well-versed in Math and Test Preparation for middle school, high school, and college students. I believe every student can succeed with personalized support. I actively listen to students, vary my teaching strategies, and provide consistent positive reinforcement. Communication is essential; I provide regular updates to build trust and keep everyone informed. The most rewarding aspect of tutoring is witnessing a student's "aha!" moment and seeing their confidence grow. I have a car, am comfortable with pets, and am available to tutor online or in person at libraries, community centers, or coffee shops.
