I'd describe my personality as patient, caring, and positive! I like tutoring because I struggled a lot as a student in certain subjects and I think I would have benefited greatly with the help of a tutor. I also love getting to help students when they are struggling in school or need things explained in a different and creative way. I started tutoring while I was in college for Elementary Education. I was hired by my professor as well as a family friend at the time. I am especially passionate about literacy in children and helping foster a love of reading within them!
