My certification is in ESL and I taught in New York for 4 years full time and 1 year as an after school instructor. I have experience teaching students with ADHD, Autism, language processing needs and emotional disturbances as well as general education students. I just moved back to my hometown of Atlanta after being in New York for 16 years. I have experience using Words Their Way, Lindamood-Bell, Reading A-Z, LLI and F&P leveling and guided reading. In addition, I have taught 1st-5th grade Math and ELA for test prep and intervention purposes.

I found Christy to be a knowledgeable, experienced tutor. Her skills and background are great. That being said, she committed to a position and then abruptly quit for another position. She then wanted to come back to work with us, and I decided to give her another shot. Bad idea---she no showed and then didn't respond to any texts/emails. Very disappointed in the lack of professionalism, but still giving her 2 stars, as I think she is a great teacher.
