Looking for an experienced elementary or middle school tutor? I'm an educator with 20+ years of experience and currently teach fifth grade in a special education/co-taught classroom with Atlanta Public Schools. I hold a Bachelor's in Elementary Education, a Master's in Reading, and a Ph. D. in Educational Policy and Measurement. I offer individualized support in: Reading -- phonics, decoding, fluency & comprehension Writing -- organization, grammar & written expression Math -- foundational skills, problem solving & understanding today's math strategies Academic Support -- identifying skill gaps, intervention & enrichment My approach goes beyond homework help. I work to identify where a student is struggling and why, then provide targeted instruction to build skills, independence, and confidence. Most importantly, I want students to feel successful and enjoy learning!
