About Christopher

I'm a current social studies teacher and former human rights educator who loves working with kids of all ages! While I spend all day with teenagers, I love creating fun educational experiences for younger children as we spend time together, like exploring what gluten is by making bread dough or fiddling with the Merlin Bird ID app in the park to see what birds are nearby. Or... we could just play! I have experience in theater, play Pokemon, and love the outdoors, so whatever your kid is interested in, we can find a way to connect. I've also traveled with children internationally for summer camps, so safety and security are top of mind, especially if we go out on excursions around the neighborhood. I speak Spanish, as well as limited Arabic and Tagalog, and am happy to learn alongside them if they're in the process of learning another language. If I seem to be a good fit, let's meet!
