About Christine

Hi! My name is Christine, and I love helping kids learn and play. As a sleepaway camp counselor, I made sure that up to 10 children at a time were safe, clean, fed, and having fun. I planned detailed itineraries and led lessons with energy and enthusiasm. I have upwards of 1000 hours of experience tutoring kids in elementary and middle school. I have done math and ELA tutoring, as well as general academic support. I do my best to make learning fun, putting together word problems that make kids giggle, acting out the history we're learning, and doing funny voices when reading aloud. Lastly, I was the primary caregiver for a 10-year-old for about a year before college. I managed lunches, school pick-ups, and homework, and provided support through the melodrama of 5th Grade.
