I'd describe my personality as empathetic, driven, and adventurous. I like tutoring because I'm a teacher and am very passionate about seeing students learn and grow. Tutoring is a great way to teach students in small groups or 1:1, and really see progress. I'm looking for a job that is flexible and allows me to teach students, which is a passion of mine. I started tutoring when I became a Certified Wilson Dyslexia Practitioner about 5 years ago. In my spare time, I like to enjoy time with my 6-year-old son and 3-year-old husky mix dog. We love spending time outside going on adventures mountain biking, paddle boarding, hiking, and snowboarding. One thing you should know about me is I give it my all in everything that I do. I am reliable, trustworthy, and very kind. My skills include patience, a strong background in teaching foundation reading skills, and strategies to make learning fun.
