About Michael

I am a thoughtful person, enthusiastic about the work I do, and dedicated to the work I am involved with. I believe that all students should have the opportunity to learn based on their unique learning styles and abilities. I want to assist students with their educational needs, helping students catch up, maintain and exceed grade level. I started tutoring to help extended family members and friends. I didn't want to sit around and watch students struggle with a subject I knew I could help with. In my spare time I develop and run robotics programming sessions through local community programs teaching students computer programming. While tutoring I will focus on the students individual educational needs and learning style. My skills include elementary school through middle school level mathematics. Computer software like Google Sheets and Scratch are used to enhance the learning process. Clear and accurate communications at a level the students will understand and enjoy.
